Tour Guide and Cycling Ambassador
If you love bikes and love riding in Boston, then this is the perfect job for you! No tour guide experience required. We hire cyclists who are outgoing, friendly, hard working and knowledgeable about safe riding in an urban environment.
We will try to accommodate schedules for anyone that fits the above description. Must have urban cycling experience and customer service experience. A love of history is a plus.

Marketing Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to head our marketing team. We need someone who is outgoing and can lead sales growth by brand promotion, direct sales outreach, event coordination, productive partnerships, bold web presence, and has the initiative to go further.
Responsibilities: Ensure the UA brand is visible, consistent, and aggressively promoted in both physical and online fronts. Manage outreach including events, a guerilla marketing campaign, online communication, local partners. Manage our web presence including social media, web site, web listings, SEO, analytics, email campaigns, and more. The position also includes daily operations of the bike shop and tour and rental location. Applicant must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Applicants with experience in retail, writing, design, and web development are strongly encouraged. Professional marketing experience required, retail/tourism industry experience is a plus.
Mechanic
We are looking for some dedicated mechanics to ensure a professional level of service on every customer’s bike. Attention to detail is paramount to success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- -Professional level bike service.
- -Bike shop floor sales.
- -Receiving tune-ups fully and properly.
- -Maintenance of tour/rental bike fleet.
- -Assisting the shop manager in ordering/receiving/inventory.
Qualifications:
- -2+ years shop experience as a mechanic.
- -Ability to work on all bike styles.
- -Strong attention to detail.
- -Floor sales experience is a plus.
Marketing Assistant
We are looking to hire a qualified candidate to assist in our extensive marketing and sales projects for the summer of 2012. The Marketing Assistant will be working directly with the Marketing Manager to facilitate our varied communications and outreach, as well as taking part in event planning and execution. The workload will be split between marketing duties and bike shop operations. Applicants should be skilled at multitasking and prioritization with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Sales/Customer Service Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- -Maintain daily rental, tour, and retail operations while ensuring profitability through individual, group, and corporate sales.
- -Maintain a high level of customer service to every guest.
- -Assist guests with bookings and questions through phone, email, and in person.
- -Manage and grow Group and Corporate Sales.
- -Maintain a positive customer environment and experience.
Qualifications:
- -Tour or travel sales experience a plus.
- -Must be comfortable on a bike with a strong knowledge of Boston.
- -2+ years in customer sales.
- -Self motivated, outgoing, and dependable.
- -Experience with Quickbooks POS preferred.
Must have excellent initiative, attention to detail, and follow through, and the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted work environment.
