Working to Keep Staff and Guests Safe and Well
As a tourism business, it is the mission of Urban AdvenTours LLC to provide safe and enjoyable experiences to our guests while maintaining healthy and positive relationships with our neighbors and the City of Boston. We recognize our responsibility to our customers, employees, and the surrounding community, and in light of the Covid-19 pandemic have adjusted our tours and rental operations to offer the safest procedures for everyone.
Cycling has been classified as a low risk activity due to the fact that we are outside, distanced, and moving between our tour stops.
Tour Capacity:
In accordance with Governor Baker’s gathering limitations, we have reduced our public tour capacity to sixteen (16) with two guides. This allows for appropriate social distancing amongst our guests while simultaneously reducing the number of tour customers facing the public while riding and at our tour stops. Exceptions are made only for private tours where all participants know one another and assume responsibility for their own safety.
Sanitization of Equipment:
All equipment, including bicycles and helmets, is sanitized between tours by our staff using disinfectant spray and wipes. Additionally, we have temporarily halted the practice of washing and reusing our branded water bottles. Filled branded water bottles are available for purchase or you may bring your own.
Masks and Face Coverings:
While preparing for the tour and at all tour stops, all guests and employees are required to wear masks or a face covering.
Commonwealth of Massachusetts Travel Restrictions:
Please visit Mass.gov to read and learn about the latest updates and travel restrictions. We trust that all of our guests have done their due diligence and are following all recommended travel orders.
