Urban AdvenTours’ Signature Bike Rental
Our go-to city rental bike is the Kona Dew Plus. With a wide range of gears, you can get up and down Beacon Hill with ease, and lightweight, durable components ensure that the bike doesn’t weigh you down.
Our bright green, reflective fenders are our trademark around Boston’s neighborhoods, and we bet that you’ll see many more of them as you cruise among all of Boston’s breathtaking sights!
Whether you’re taking a self-guided tour or participating in one of New England’s many charity rides, our hybrid bikes are great for all-around riding. If you need some ideas on where to go, simply check out our routes page!
All rentals include helmets, locks, flat kits, and lights upon request. Pick up anytime on the day of your booking, and return the bike by the same time the following day! A variety of water bottles are available for purchase at the shop. Gatorade is also available for purchase.
If you are using a GoCard or GoBoston Pass for your bike rental, please do NOT make a reservation online. Your pass is good for a same day bike rental; you may pick-up any time after 10am and return anytime before 5pm. Present you pass at the shop on the day of your rental; if you book and pay for a bike rental online in advance, you will not be refunded.
Delivery is subject to availability, on a case-by-case basis. We request at least 48-hour notice for deliveries. Please call us at 617-670-0637 to discuss pricing and availability prior to booking.
All rental bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE; although you may change your rental date for a $20 rebooking fee per rider. If you need to cancel, you will receive credit which is good for use towards rentals and tours.
Are you more comfortable on a Step-Through style bicycle?
If you would like to comfort of a wide saddle and the ease of having a step-through frame, you can request to change your city bike rental to a Biria Step-Through cruiser on the booking. When you are checking out, you will see a drop down labeled ‘Would you prefer a Step-Through style?’, which you will be able to answer yes or no. Feel free call or email if you have any further questions.
Have Children Who Want to Go for the Ride?
We have 20″ and 24″ kids bikes available, as well as a variety of other options for younger riders. You will see the kid’s attachments when you book your city bike rental.
PLEASE NOTE: Baby seats, burleys, and trailers are only available for FULL DAY RENTAL (not allowed for 2 hour rentals).
Disclaimer
Please treat our bicycles as if they were your own. You are liable for any and all damage, loss, or theft of rented items. There will be a cleaning fee of $50 if bicycle is not returned in a reasonably clean condition at the discretion of Urban Adventours. The rental period starts upon pickup and ends upon return of equipment. We do not store any rental items for customers. Rental items may be picked up and dropped off only during our opening hours. Additional fee of $100 will incur if rental items are returned during our closed hours.

Yes! If you want to learn to ride a bike, we can direct you to some good locations to learn to ride in, such as the Charles River Esplanade and the Boston Common. Of course, we recommend learning with an experienced rider alongside you!

Probably not. We can provide you with a map and basic directions but we simply don’t have the manpower to show every guest the perfect route. Our map is detailed and points you in the right direction!

Not a problem! We have rear rack equipped bikes readily available for rental with a $25 upgrade. However, we are limited in sizing and would recommend reserving ahead of time.
