Cycle To The Source
This annual ride is put on by the Cambridge Water Department (CWD), and tours the sites around Cambridge where its residents get their water! The goal of the ride is to “connect CWD staff to the public, and encourages community members to consider where their water comes from.”
On this ride, you’ll not only see the Cambridge watershed, but you’ll also learn about the supply, protection, transport, and treatment of Cambridge water before it reaches the tap, as well as the connections between the way residents and businesses use the land and water quality.
In support of this ride, Urban AdvenTours often assists with the leading of the tour, and rents hybrid and road bikes to participants of the ride.
