Eye of the tiger, err BioBus

We are feeling like champs in the shop down here in the North End. Conquering big tours, managing group rentals, putting on some serious events. We had a successful Tour de Farms last weekend with many miles, lots of sun, even more riders and some great information from local farmers.

The fifth annual Ride with the Champions, a cycling event to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts, will be held Saturday, Aug. 29. The race is run from the Topsfield Fairgrounds and follows a great route along the North Shore, ending back at the fairgrounds with a post-race party. There are three different routes, ranging from a 62-mile Metric Century to a 12-mile Family Fun Ride. Of course, we’ve got bike rentals available if you don’t have your own ride. Skip the goofy carnival prizes and ride for a great cause. To be a champ yourself, check out their website or call 1-888-767-RACE and let ’em know I sent ya.

It’s been a winning summer so far and we’re ready to power through into the fall. Now if only it was easier to bike up stairs….
