If we told you that only$15 can get you a meal and a drink from Redbones, access to see live bands, valet bike parking, a whole bunch of new friends with the same interests as you gathered in one space, a raffle ticket that holds the power to win a custom cargo bike among other great prizes and that the$15 it costs to get you in go towards NEMBA (New England Mountain Bike Association) and MassBike (Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition) would you believe us?
Well, this can all be yours this Monday the 6th at the 15th Annual Redbones Bike Party and Benefit event from 5-9PM! NEMBA is an advocacy organization dedicated to keeping the trails they ride on clean and educating others of the importance of maintaining the trails. Massbike is an organization that promotes safe biking in Massachusetts as a form of environmentally sound transportation.
Additional raffle tickets are 2 dollars each or $ 5 for 3 tickets. Prizes include a custom made ANT (Alternative Needs Transportation) basket bike, $ 500 towards a custom Geekhouse bike frame, Via 3 bike by Giant, a vast array of t-shirts, gift certificates, jerseys, caps and water bottles by organizations and brands like Bikes not Bombs, Boston Bike Film Festival, Ciclismo Classico, East Coast Alpine, Firefly Bicycles, Pedro’s, Seven Cycles, and of course Urban AdvenTours.
If you don’t know how to get to Redbones or you just love riding in bike gangs, then head over to our shop (109 Atlantic Ave) at 5pm and join the Urban AdvenTours crew who will ride out to Davis Square together. The first five cyclists to make it to Urban AdvenTours for the ride over to Redbones will win an “I ‘bike’ Somerville” t-shirt. And everyone that rides out with the UA crew will also get an additional raffle ticket for all those sweet prizes mentioned above.
We hope to see you Monday night for bikes, BBQ, and beer!
