There’s something about riding at night. The sun begins to set, the air cools, the city slowly begins to calm as the day’s work ends and folks head home. Suddenly, the sound of two wheels whirring across pavement is more calming than usual. Enjoy that relaxed ambiance on a springtime or summer bike tour through Boston with us!
The Tour de Boston is our family-friendly tour for families with young children or those who are not as comfortable on a bicycle. The sunset option is also perfect for a date night in Boston or outing with friends!
This route is almost entirely on bike paths along the Charles River. Unlike the City View tour, the Tour de Boston does not include stops at many historic and cultural sites since it does not include travel into Downtown Boston and other neighborhoods in the city.
The UA crew has known for years that evening rides are the most relaxing and the most fun, so this year we’ve decided to share the experience. Our Tour de Boston – Sunset Cycle Edition tour shows you the city as the sun goes down and the lights come up, focusing on Boston’s beautiful waterfront. See some of Boston’s coolest sights while keeping an eye out for fun restaurants and after-dark hangouts for later in the evening.
All of our tours include an individually-fitted bike, helmet, water, and, of course, a friendly and knowledgeable guide who leads you on your travels. Come enjoy a quiet evening in Boston the right way – on a bike!
Want an extra boost? E-bike upgrades are available for this tour! You’ll have the option to upgrade during the booking process for just $35. Please note you must be at least 16 to ride an electric bike.
