Urban Bike Share Program

Don’t own a bike, but want to experience cycling in Boston? Do you love to go for a bike ride, but don’t want the hassle of owning and maintaining your own bike? Then Urban AdvenTours' Urban Bike Share is right for you! You'll have access to our fleet of quality hyrbid, road, and fixed-gear bikes as well as member discounts, a free bike tour to get you ready for urban riding, and you'll support local organizations that make Boston a beautiful and safe place to experience by bike.

Once you sign up, you'll receive an Urban Bike Share membership card which gets you a 20% discount on all Urban AdvenTours merchandise, apparel, and services (excluding shop services); a Gift Certificate for a free bike tour; redeemable Bike Bucks for bike rentals; Hub on Wheels information and registration discount; and a little about the local organizations your membership fees help support. In addition, as a member, you will receive our e-newsletter, information on upcoming events, opportunities, and fun activities.

We offer two different types of year-long memberships: the 3-Speed and the 10-Speed.

Bike Bucks
At Urban AdvenTours, we pride ourselves in offering every rider with a well maintained, comfortable and safe bicycle, fitted to each rider's specifications. Bike Bucks allow you to access our fleet of quality bicycles. Each Bike Buck can be redeemed for one, 24-hour hybrid bicycle rental which includes a helmet and lock. You can use two Bike Bucks to take out one of our road or fixed-gear bicycles. If you spend all your Bike Bucks, additional bike rentals can be purchased at a 20% discount with your Membership Card.

Local Organization Partnerships
We partner with local community organizations that help make Boston a more bike-friendly, sustainable city. 10% of your Urban Bike Share membership fees will be donated to Bikes Not Bombs, Hub On Wheels, Livable Streets Alliance, and Mass Bike.

Additional Benefits
As part of your Urban AdvenTours membership, you're entitled to a lifetime discounted Zipcar membership! You'll pay only $25 a year for membership - that's an initial savings of $50 and an annual savings of $25! PLUS you'll start with $25 in FREE driving your first year! Refund Information
Our Urban Bike Share program is non-refundable.
