A damp Bike Week with more events to come!

While we’d all love some warm, sunny days, this isn’t our first spring in New England. We’re geared up for riding in all kinds of weather, and Bay State Bike Week has certainly been putting us to the test this year. We’ve had some damp tours, but those shiny green fenders on our Dew Bostons are proving they’re more than just a bright splash of color.

Clean, dry riders even on a muddy bike trail. Thanks fenders!

Bike Week wraps up a bit with Mayor Menino’s Boston Bike Week Festival. Join a convoy tomorrow morning to ride into City Hall Plaza, hang out with your favorite bike friends and grab some free breakfast.

Due to some of this off-putting weather MassBike rescheduled the metro-Boston area’s Ride of Silence to next Tuesday, May 24th. The purpose of the Ride of Silence is to draw attention to bicyclist safety. Please join us that evening at 6:45pm in Seven Hills Park behind the Davis Square MBTA Station. RVSP to rides@massbike.org so they know how many people to expect. For more information, read the original Ride of Silence post.
