Tours begin with a lesson on the rules of the road and safe cycling at our shop in the North End. Safety is always our number one concern and our guides are trained to ensure an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Bike to the Boat Tour includes:
Tour Guide- Friendly staff will escort the tour from start to end
Bike & Helmet- High quality equipment for safety and comfort
Freedom Trail- Boston’s famous path along historic sites
USS Constitution- The world’s oldest commissioned floating war ship

Youth Programming

“The Bike and Body Maintenance” class, run by Urban AdvenTours for the Citizen Schools program at the Charlestown Edwards Middle School is ‘wheely’ making a difference.

Young people get a chance to learn about safe biking, basic bike maintenance and their neighborhoods. We work on bikes, talk about bikes, ride bikes, stay fit and have fun.

Urban AdvenTours is also excited to be partnered with Boston Natural Areas Network (BNAN). The program, named Two Wheelin’ Teens: City Bike Trips for Boston Youth, takes young people on bicycle tours through the newest, greenest parks and bike paths created in Boston and Cambridge, learning about bikes and the green places in their city.

We have toured the East Boston Greenway, the Neponset River Greenway, the Southwest Corridor and other beautiful green spots around Boston.

Urban AdvenTours believes that it is important to teach young people about the benefits of good nutrition and healthy eating habits. Through partnerships with Clif Bar, Urban AdvenTours teaches kids how to incorporate good nutrition into their healthy, active lifestyle.
